i walked into a room in my house today and turned on the television there, and george bush started talking. i guess it was a rebroadcast. wolf blitzer was there.
"this day was a--" never wanted to ignore somebody more.
Yesterday I had a class with a professor of sociology that said "Young people should join the military and do something patriotic to keep them out of trouble. They can be more productive that way."
I don't know how people can be more productive when they're dead. She was also suggesting we should all be deeply intimidated/disgusted/afraid of muslims. I promptly switched out of that class.
Thank you for reminding me that at least some people can manage to still think critically about the past and current situations.
