Walk Hard is fucking hilarious.

My sister's African gray parrot flew out the door today, it was quite an adventure. Ryan and I went on a hike and I found the bird in a tree in Mission Trails park, haha. So lucky.

Then Ryan forced me to go ice skating... we did two laps and then quit because it sucks!

I'm not really into new year's resolutions or anything, but I can't help but try and make sure that 2008 doesn't suck as badly as 2007. I'm gonna set my quit date for sometime in January, so I will be able to pay for school. I don't really have a choice, but I'm gonna try and make the best of it. Also, my Dad said he would give me 1000 dollars and and a new car if I quit smoking. I can't really say no, but godammit, I really don't want to.

I got good grades this semester and I'm so glad. My GPA is still not what i want, but after next semester it should be a lot better.

Also, I'm reading The Sound and The Fury and I don't know what the fuck is going on. It's okay, I'm just going to relax and hope that it will start to make sense eventually.

I've decided that while I'm not in school, I'm going to volunteer somewhere. I've already expressed interest in helping out cooking food in Dulzura for the fire victims, I'm just waiting to be contacted about it. It's actually kinda hard to find volunteer opportunities, maybe it's just this time of year.
