Turtle update

The wee turtles are indeed crossing the road! I saw it myself! However they are not crossing anywhere near the sign and it is far past June. I think we need another more accurate sign. As a new resident here I shall write the city council about this at once

No, the driver I fired ran into a street lamp because he couldn't avoid a certain turtle shaped leaf that will remain anonymous.

I'm not certain they're meant to be pets. At least not the cuddly sort. I should check and see if the koi ponds here could support a few.

I fired him because he didn't avoid the obstacle that thankfully was not a wee baby turtle crossing the road and he also managed to hit an innocent lamp post as well. What if that had been a real turtle? And what if it had been more than just a lamppost? When someone yells, "Look out a turtle!" One would think the most obvious response would be to stop the car? Honestly, good help is so exceedingly rare these days.

I'm fairly certain that I've never heard a turtle laugh my dear Otogi-boy, but if that is the case them I'm of no mind to stop them.

Are you sure something can't be done about that? It's definitely not the first time a lamp post has run out in front of one of my vehicles. They are getting to be a true hazard no matter where I am.

Why would the council members laugh when they are certainly the ones responsible for approving the original sign that started this? I am of a mind to wonder if the turtles would even be crossing the road at all if they were not encouraged to do so by the sign.
