"A horse walks into a bar, orders a soda, sits down at one of the tables, and starts reading his paper."

The waiter is a bit shocked by all this, but pours the soda, and brings it over to the horse, who hands him a ten dollar bill for it. Now the barman figures the horse isn't that bright, so he decides to pull the old 'short-change' trick on him. He duly goes back to the horse with 1 dollar. The horse doesn't say a word.

The horse eventually finishes his soda and goes up to the bar to order another. Says the bartender to him, "Y'know, we don't get many horses in here."

To which the horse replies, "At nine dollars a soda, I'm not surprised."

In other news, I've decided to refit the old stables that came with my new home. They're not very serviceable at the moment and far too small. I think they were only meant to look like stables and were being used for storage of old gardening supplies when I first moved in.

I miss having nature and animals around. Domino city is nice, but it's even nicer to come home and have some life to greet you. I think riding would do me good as well, I haven't had much exercise lately and as much as Croquet likes to keep me inside under lock and key where I'll be safe, it's not doing much for my mood or my health.

Ideally I'd like to add onto the facilities that are already here and include an indoor dressage ring. We should have room for a good fifteen stalls to start, I can send for some of my favorites from back home. I don't plan on breeding but you never know. Even horsies can fall in love. There is room for expanding later on if we need it.

Who knows, maybe by spring time I'll have something ready for the local clubs competitions? Wouldn't that be something? I haven't entered anything since I was a teenager.
