The combination laundry/bathroom that we've been painting and hanging cabinets in has a stained-wood windowframe that we decided to leave as stained wood and not paint.   We carefully masked it.  Today I took the masking off, and noticed all these smears of paint...Wha..?  We had some problems with the paint leaking through the masking tape,

Shouldn't you be banging the previous owners' head into the wall? As in, "Why the hell did you do this? Did you do this in some drug-addled haze? What ever possessed you to do this? Why didn't you leave us the name and number of your drug dealer so that we could LIVE with it?"
