I hate memes but I'll do this one

Well, I got started on this meme, b/c it had to do with music.  However, it turns out that I hardly recognize the names of any of these songs.  Just shows to go you how I wasn't listening to that stuff by the time I was graduating.  That was my Donovan, Bowie, and Beatles year.  I had to go back to the 1985 list before I really started recognizing

Funny, your list and my list would be about the same but I'd double strike-through Whitney Houston.

I admit to having U2 on my iPod, but I didn't inhale.

Half of the music that was played on the "top 40" stations was crap. I'd be curious to see the Live 105 top 100 list of that year. I'm sure it'd be a heck of a lot different (and more interesting).
