[Dawn hasn't seen Toothless out and about for a while, and she's been worried about him, so she's a bit relieved when she catches sight of him standing near City Hall. Even still, she's a little slower than usual to approach, since she knows he's been a little snappy lately.]
[Toothless is just staring, remaining low in the shadows. Daylight isn't the best time for stalking and he knows this, but they'd probably expect something like him at night.
His tail sways very gently, like a cat's, and his eyes remain locked on the building]
[Dawn elects to come up from the side, but at an angle so he can at least notice her before she's right there next to him. Toothless is a friend, but Dawn knows full well how dangerous wild creatures can be when surprised. She also gets that he's trying not to draw a lot of attention to himself, so she'll do her best to stay quiet as well.]
Whoa, that is one strange-looking cat. He actually stops to blink a bit, realizing that said cat isn't quite as far away as it looked (and was just really that huge) and wasn't really a cat at all.
Too scaly for that.
Approach with caution? Nah. But he approaches anyway, sliding on over. ]
[She's lost in thought while wandering the town, but slows to a stop near the City Hall. She can't see anything, but she thinks she might have heard something...and she's very familiar with being watched or stalked by unseen things. It takes her a few moments to spot the dragon, but she doesn't approach or say anything just yet. For now, she just watches and waits to see what the dragon is planning on.]
