man, did you ever! and quintron was Hot, Hot. the cosmic vibes were flying high and at one point i thought i was growing some kind of intergalactic tentacle on the middle of my forehead! not kidding! it (the tentacle) wanted to strangle quintron's sweaty neck. i'm so sad i wasn't able to meet you while in Vancouver, but we may have another chance soon as i plan to return at least once before school starts again in august. i loved erin and i loved the bizarre, beautiful, strange puppet man on commercial with the gargantuan frogs. i felt at home (which is rare for me, i think).

maybe i can make a root soup for you upon my return.

bah!
I'm sad that I missed the show and perhaps more so that I missed meeting you! I got the impression from Erin when I spoke to her on the phone that you were a Vancouverite... Oh well, here's hoping we can all hang out when you come back in August.
It's strange - the day after Quintron I had a moment when I was walking down the street where I thought that it woudl really suck to miss a great show right about now because I'm really in the mood to be blown away by something unexpected. And since I haven't even thought about Quintron in 5 years, it would unexpected to say the least.
Glad you had a good time on the Drive. The puppet guy is pretty out there - did you see the dude in the motorized wheel-chair who has his 2 puppets talk to each other, without actually knowing how to do ventriloquism? He's wonderful.
Hope all's well, I'll hold you to that promise of Root Soup, hopefully accompanied by Erin's recently publicised mint juleps.

yes!! the dude in the motorized wheel-chair is the same person i was referencing -- i loved him, i loved him!! he touched me very deeply. the way he made the frogs talk was the most perfect reflection of human nature i've ever seen. i think both his and my own subconscious are linked somewhere in outer space (or at least i like to flatter myself thinking so).
