i think i've added this response to similar posts of this nature, but if there's a worse band name than "sixpence none the richer" i have yet to hear it.

"Casiotone for the Painfully Alone" always struck me as very asinine. "The Grabass Charlestons" are hot contenders for the very worst. "Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly" make me realize how unfeasibly twee band names can get.
