I'm glad someone is finally exploiting the comedy goldmine that is the common titmouse. *tee hee!* I can't even say it without giggling.

Titmouse.

Jeph Jacques is awesome. his real comic is cooler, though.

As a former cowbell player, I felt the need to stand up for it. Then I realized that I never really liked playing it that much, and there weren't too many upsides except that I didn't have to do much but ogle the timpani player who I shared a music stand with.

I think that made sense...

i don't have anything against actual cowbells, just the dumbass snl routine and the kids who won't shut up about it.

tho, yknow, there are also real instruments... :D

what a clever bird.

the cowbell is a real instrument (though i think it's mostly just part of the drum kit) that sounds really cool but has recently been made really popular with pop culture spewing hep cats because it was used in a lot of rock music in the 80s and 90s and rock music from the 80s and 90s is Really Cool in 2005. for President!

also, congratulations, yay job! i don't check lj very often, so i check it lots at a time. and i felt like commenting on this post instead of the one about the job. but, yay job! oh yeah

it's also a snl sketch, i gather. it's supposedly on a will farrel (sp) thing? i dunno, but the "i've got a fever and the only cure is more cowbell" is definitely from that. and it's obnoxious and dumb.

:) yeah, it's good times.

ps, go buy a bike :D
