Riccardo Riccò always wanted to be like his hero, Marco Pantani.

The self-styled "Cobra" got his wish Thursday and made a Pantani-esque implosion as two French gendarmes hauled him away after he failed a doping control from stage four at the Tour de France.

French police have taken Spaniard Manuel Beltran away for questioning in the wake of the first doping scandal to emerge at this year's Tour de France.

Cadel Evans is gonna win this thing.

OK, so everybody is saying that, not just me. But he is. and it's cool because he's another one of those former mountain bike racers whom I fangirled back in the 90's.

And possibly even drug free. He's pretty vocal about  the others being on drugs, so let's hope he's not bluffing.
