Summary: Chris makes a stand and starts to turn things around

Chris wasn't happy with the way things had turned out.
She was 38 years old, with two estranged teenagers, an estranged father, and an estranged best friend. All four of which were staring at her, though her daughter through glassy eyes- the sedative having not yet worn off.
She passed Rina off to Hannibal, and ignored their protests as she dove feet first back into what had been her daughter's prison of the last few days.
She had tried so hard to keep them out of what she had been forced into.
She regretted so much right now, like not letting herself get very close to her father, or not telling her now boss where to shove it and stayed with the best things that had ever happened to her.
This wasn't the time to dwell, and there wasn't any way to change it. Her cover was shattered, but she still had a job to finish.
She turned as she heard someone drop down next to her.
"You really think I'm going to let you do this on your own?" Tori asked, raised eyebrow, "Now let's go." She headed out the door without waiting for an answer.
Chris grinned and went with.
