Due to some degree of pressure from my GP to lose weight, and also out of a sense of inquisitiveness and the desire to "give things a go", I agreed to be put on the drug Acomplia (Rimonabant)

Well, I'm a bit sceptical, I guess, but I'm willing to give it a go.
My GP says that she has had good initial feedback from the patients she has put on it in terms of weight loss and lack of side-effects.
We shall see.

OMG it effects your mental state-
be careful - and if yer down - remmeber it the drug! :O well at least thats wot it seems like on wikipedia, is Rimonabant black current flavour like Ribena? or it it just me makeing that tenious connection.

It doesn't *seem* to taste like Ribena, no... :D
It's OK, I've got the fella keeping an eye on my mental health, if I went all weird and googly I'd come off them ;)
