Just ran my first race of the year, our local Corporate Challenge. 3.5 miles, and almost 10,000 runners. The first mile was such a PITA, trying to keep up a pace and trying to get around all the walkers, we were literally running on peoples lawns, and it too 15 minutes. Finished in 42:24, and according to me, ran a 10:48 mile pace for the last 2.5

You run so much, you have to have a lot of muscle in you. I have lost inches and feel great (not to my goals yet, but certainly working on it) and I still weigh 160lbs. I've barely moved a number on the scale, but I know I look better. Muscle is heavier than fat (more dense, a much smaller amount of muscle weighs more than a big glob of fat), so I think that's why. I have no doubts you're in wonderful shape!
