Hey sorry to not answer your question (though it is a very good one), but I remember a while back you asked about getting your hands on some good drum and bass. Go to www.digitallyimported.com and scroll down. You'll get it streaming, non-stop. I'm pretty sure it's decent, though I'm not a huge fan of that brand of techno myself, so I haven't listened to that link.

Also, have you ever been to a rave and/or drum and bass party?
