It's been one of those weeks...

Maj. Morris is leaving us tomorrow, it sux to see him go. He's by the best C/O I've had the pleasure of working with. Honestly, he's a great man and an amazing leader and has gone up to bat for me on many occasions. On a more positive note, continuing his humanistic approach towards the 250 of us in A. Co, he's made it mandatory for us to show up @ Tony's Bar and Grill here on post @ 1800. He wants to buy us all one last round. I hope the new Maj is just as cool....so far, it looks that way.

Aline bought me a new uniform today, got everything stitched on, and had it pressed for me. Damn thing cost her close to $100. I told her she didn't have to do that, but she did it anyways. Reasons like this are why she's one of my best friends. She'll do things for the simple reason that it's nice to do and want nothing but a thank you. Friday I'm slipping 100 dollars into one of her pairs of pants. I can't accept a gift like that, I don't care how much money she has. That isn't why I love her.

Travis is still in Iraq. 132F he told me, I hope he comes home soon. I miss my roommate. Him and Steve are two of the coolest guys I've ever lived with.

Tomorrow is goona suck my balls, Maj. Morris's change of command is tomorrow and we have weapons draw @ 12ish...it's hot, humid as all hell, and on top of everything else that bites my ass...it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Go me! To make matters worse...tomorrow is Thursday. Thursday is my day to sleep in an hour later, but go to work an hour an a half earlier. Thursday is what we in the ROK call SGT's time training. 0700 - 1200 we get to sit trough some class of some kind. HQ's platoon does ours out doors on a hill, so we can somewhat relax and be in the shade. Which is awesome, especially when your sitting trough 5 hours of the most asinine classes the Army has to offer.

Friday Signals the start of the weekend. And thank god for it. Aline is dragging me to a Luis Vitton(sp?) show. Which is cool because I like his clothing. It's just a little out of my price range. I'm gonna try and make it up to Stanton so I can put in my mail box change of address and pick up a little over a month worth’s of mail. The advanced copy of the new Atreu and TBS cd's have been sitting there so fucking long the albums are out in stores.
