Now that she has learned that magic appears to involve a great deal of impending doom paired with next to no ability to act, Miranda is significantly less enthused about the idea. She is in the garden now, tearing absently at a leaf, eyes downcast.

He took a nap and feels a bit better now, now that Jaenelle is more like herself, so he goes looking for her, and finds her eventually. Then frowns. "Miranda?" Worriedly.

Caliban has been spending more time outdoors, and that's how he happens upon her. "Oh - hey, Miranda," he says, trying for a little smile. He's troubled as well, and bad at hiding it, but he does try for her.
