I do think you've gotten Wikus spot on, and the emotional detail/impact is gorgeous. :)

Oh thank you quite a lot! I've honestly read some fantastic D9 fanfiction, but the greater majority of them seem to have changed what happened near the end (leaving Christopher on earth/Wikus going with Christopher), a completely alterd MC (Wikus not struggling as he did in the movie) or a quick switch to "Three Years into the Future". After I saw the film, I wanted what was directly next! I'm hoping to include the scene with the Flower, Tiana's mindset at that time and go so far as to the Three Years mark and on but carry the character development throughout the fic.

Aka the Metamorphosis of his character over these events. Hell if he's going to be static!!!
