A16! I've been hearing so, so much about it since it opened a year ago, and ... that's what I would request.
They say The Slanted Door is hella good, and ....
I've been to Foreign Cinema and Millenium, two buzz restaurants, and I didn't especially like either.

Happy Birthday! Did you find a nice place? My favorite place when somebody else was paying was the Flying Saucer, but it closed a few years ago. I so rarely eat anything but burritos in SF that I wouldn't have a clue where to go.

I couldn't get into either of quick impulse's recomendations, so we're going to this italian restaurant in Berkeley that got a 27 in Zagat's.

On Sunday we ate at Bissap Baobob on Mission. I'd recommend the Gombo Saff.
