Hypothetical:
Would you give up a year's income to be able to travel into space (orbit the earth, maybe spacewalk, but not walk on a non-terrestrial surface)?

Did you hear the Russian government is offering trips to the moon for $100 million?

(That's about how much I make in a year, so these kinds of things aren't hypothetical to me.)

Are we talking like two weeks in space, or closer to two days? But yeah, I'd do it. I'd rather we had better technology, though, good enough so I could pop out to Pluto and then cruise around and zap asteroids for a bit.

i wouldn't even do it if it were free. i would imagine space travel to be really uncomfortable. i don't like the idea of urination without the aid of gravity, but maybe that's just me.

You just pee into a vacuum, baby. And not a space/time vacuum, but a Hoover vacuum.
Personally I have issues with peeing in an open bowl full of water. I wish I could pee in space every day.

no way. maybe a year of my income circa 1994, but not now.

You've become too powerful to give it up now?
Don't kid yourself, bro. Starting over in a year wouldn't really be starting over. You'd have all that experience, and those recommendations. I don't think it would set you back much (not like I actually know what you do). Plus you'd have gone to space. That might, you know, open up some new doors.

you're anti-space at my house and pro-space at jeff's house. it's like me with sports.
