Last weekend I went to the National Museum of Korea on Saturday. It was bigger than I expected it to be, and in retrospect I wish that I had started at the top (3rd floor Korean celadon pottery and general Asian art) and worked my way down (2nd floor Korean art and Joseon era furniture, 1st floor Hangeul and historic artifacts) instead of the ( Read more... )

The train ride was lovely, though I do wish I had now been so tired. I do now have pictures of the hotel name in both English and Korean. :)

Not speaking the language is a big handicap, and it can be bewildering. But as I wrote, people are very helpful.

I'm sure you'll do fine in France. :)
