The first day in Paris, my morning was spent just getting from the airport to tattermuffin's hotel. With no cell phone, few pay phones, and a cell number that didn't work, plus carting my luggage on the Metro during the transportation strike, coordinating meeting them, and then getting there, was no easy feat

Thanks! Lots of my pictures from the trip were awful, because the interiors of museums, cathedrals, and palaces were so dark, and didn't allow the use of a flash. But the daylight ones, at least, turned out ok.

My travels have been fabulous experiences, but I'm glad to be home again.

I've wanted to go to Paris since my high school French classes. I didn't know if I'd ever be able to go, and I was SO thrilled that it worked out that I could. Now I hope I get to go back. *g*

I hope you get to go, too! Paris is amazing. I had very high expectations, and if anything, it was even better than I'd hoped.

Yay Tora! I totally remember my first "OMG I'm actually in Paris!!!" moment. There were many of them. It kept happening. Hee.

Great pics and I'm looking forward to all your posts about this experience. I'm so happy you got to go to Paris and most especially to be able to hang out with tattermuffin too.

Thanks! I'm very happy that I got to go, too. :) And especially that I was able to see Paris with friends that had mostly similar interests.
