But lessee~ Hate is such a strong word, so Katori would never use that term, but... he's... displeased with his father. Rather, what he's displeased with is his inability to change the situation.
He's accepted his fate, and he doesn't intend to defy his father in any way, but he wishes that in place of his great sacrifice, his very future, that his father would at least... acknowledge this loss. ad;kfha;a;kfjd this is starting to sound like my personal essay ololol :(
So, in other words, he's come to terms with what isn't going to change. However, he's hung up on what still has the capability of changing. Since he isn't allowed to have his own goal for the future as far as career goes, he made one for himself: he just wants to have his father's approval ( ... )

It's hard to say. Katori doesn't just jump into things. It took a while even to get together with Owen, because... Well, Katori wasn't just considering their immediate relationship. He had to envision their entire future, and know that it was right. He had to think about how his father would react, or how to keep it secret...
