Just wondering... the story on Torchwood was that Lisa was converted because the Cybermen were running out of soldiers near the end of the battle against the Daleks. But didn't the Cybermen appear all over the world? There were definitely loads of them in London alone. Why couldn't they just call in some of the Cybermen in the London streets rather

Hi you might find this link helpful. The battle was centred there because that was the origin for the ghost shifts which were controled by TW1. That meant it was a nexus. The battle was over the ability to control the appearence of the cybermen. (That was my understanding from cannon.)
