[Another while later -- all those stairs, you know, and it doesn't help that much of the floor is still kind of frozen indoors -- a shadow stomps through Marshall's lobby, slamming the front door open and pausing for a moment.

He's already decided that he could use some exercise today, forget that upstart -- he'll be dealt with later.

Lafayel finally arrives on the scene, big cape on a slight figure moving purposefully in general direction of where the speck of the communicator vanished.]
