Random post of random! Okay not really, cuz I have some stuff on my mind I wanna talk about =) Still waiting to hear back about the job >>; I waaaaant it. I want the cash, and the job itself sounds pretty good, as far as jobs I've had. I'm naturally up all night anyway so midnights would be cool, and the low pressure (and extra dollar an hour!) or ( Read more... )

Elliptical is good. I like ours. Consider checking online ads like Kijiji and Craig's List - sometimes you can get a good used one for a decent price ( ... )

I look out now and then =3 I think the cheapest used one I've found is one hundred... so I might get one of those, when I have the cash. Plus, it saves me from having to put it together, which is good =3 ( ... )

**nods** I do understand you wanting one, I really do. And I believe you when you say you've thought about it. Like I said, it's your call to do what you want, but if it were me, I'd hold off. After all, when you got Louis, I remember you saying that would be it for pets for a little while until you got more established... **small smile** (And when I mentioned space, I wasn't referring to the physical size of your apartment - it was the number of fur-kids that would be running around). I don't think wanting to rescue an animal and love it is a terrible idea...I just think that at the moment, there are other things you could use more than another pet. But, you're not a kid, and I'm not going to lecture, and I'll just leave it at that. Though if you do go through with this and get one, research the breed carefully. Little dogs are often prone to all kinds of medical problems.

**hugs** I'm glad you're happy. It was the intent...

**smirks** It is, but it's a necessary evil. It's getting me out of the giant hole of debt I'm

Yes, I remember xD That was because we had tried to adopt a dog already and it didn't work out for us. But I dont think it was the having a dog that was the problem-- it was just THAT dog in particular. And I know it might seem like a lot of animals but... its kinda par for the course for me; when I lived with my mom it was with a lot of animals, and like I said-- she has a dog and a cat and various little critters (hamsters, fish, lizards, uh... and there are more) all living and happy in her place... so its not like its impossible ( ... )

*hugs you* I know it's not what you want to hear, Love, but I have to agree with Jennie on the pup. I've wanted one... well, for forever, but I just can't do it, with the apartment and working and my financial situation. Maybe consider going to the shelters and volunteering as a walker or something to get your fix? *cuddles you* I'm sorry. I don't mean to rain on your parade, and it ultimately is your decision. I just care about you and Chantel a LOT, and the last thing I want is for you to do something with the best of intentions and have it end up making things harder for you two- let alone the dog.

*snorts* Your landlord sounds like a tool. I know that, around here, anyway, there are certain codes rentals have to live up to. Is there an agency you can check with?

My OCD demands I respond via LJ, as well :P toreadore_rose March 16 2010, 22:33:34 UTC
I would, but A) I get to attached to the dogs and get sad when they leave (or worse) SO... its really not good for my mood. B)... There are no shelters that I can get to very easily. I know you say what you do out of love, so I'm not upset or anything ^^; I appreciate your honesty.

No kidding >>; tis lame. I don't know, but I should look into it, for sure!

*cuddles* I'm currently working on losing weight too, though I have a feeling if I told you what size I am now and what size I want to get back down to you'll smack me.

Good luck finding the dog you like, we're currently considering getting one -or two, if I get a job-, to replace the one that was hit. But we're looking for huge dogs -I want a German Shepared, Momma wants the same Pit bull/Boxer mix that the last one was-, not small ones. I hope it works out well for you though <3.

Thanks ^^ I will totally need to get a job before I even start looking for one, so yeah >>; German Shepards are one of my fav breeds ^^ I hope you find a good dog that you both like ^^

Haha, I actually meant you'd smack me because I'm pretty darn small. -Size 10/12, trying to get back down to a size 6-.

Lol, then we're in the same boat *toasts to both getting jobs soon*. German Shepards have been my favorite for ages, Haunting Grounds just emphasized this fact, so I'm going to work hard at getting one <3.
