Um what? The cops can't do anything? Do they say you don't have enough to find her, or something? That's total bullshit. If this person is someone some other people know, then surely there is a way to find her. I know I don't know much about the situation, and I am sure you've told them everything you could.
That is bullshit. I wish I could say/do something to help.
No, they said because there was no witnesses they couldn't do anything. Like, ME saying it was not enough, nor is the fact that my stuff is fucking missing. They said if I had the serial numbers of my stuff, they would be able to maybe see is they could find it if it was taken to any pawn shops, but thats it.
I gave them her cell number, and where she told me she lives, and where Ryan lives.... *sigh* and yet, they say they can do nothing.
I still call shenanigans on that. I don't know how much different the legal system in Canada is from here in the US, but somehow the fact that you have all this information (and the cops are still shrugging) just doesn't make a damn bit of sense to me. I mean, I understand the bit with the serial numbers and shit, which you can get but it is kind of a bitch, but the numbers and address and all that? *tears out hair* I am going to ask one of my friends who graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice about that one.
Ugh, but good luck with all of this mess. I hope that you guys will be able to have some piece of mind if anything.
I'm sorry that happened to you. I remember when we were robbed way back in 2001...it was such a violation. I spent three days scrubbing my apartment because it felt dirty.
They took all my jewellery, my playstation, some of M's tools...It really sucked. But, like you keep telling yourself, not everyone is like that, and not everyone is going to rip you off. It's hard now, I know, but it does get a bit better with time.

Tch, well, let us just say that I am not in the headspace to make any new friends at the moment.
Like I said above; fucking lazy ass pigs. Must be nice to have a career in professional indifference.
