Closer to fulfillment

All my life I've wanted to be a pilot, but in recent years I've had to realise that it is unlikely I'll every fly commercial jets. It's either too time- and money-consuming (civilian) or mad (Air Force), and I'm not convinced that my fascination with commercial aviation is in the actual flying of the planes. Hey Tyler that is really cool...I had no idea you were so into aviation. It's a passion I share as well, although more so for personal sized propeller based aircraft than jumbo jets. I'm down here here in Orange County getting my piloting license @ John Wayne Airport, out of personal interest rather than career aspirations. I know you feel as though becoming a commercial pilot an unrealistic option for you, but I urge you to remain optimistic. In any case, in the spirit of better-late-than-never I decided to comment this rather dated blog entry, and I hope all is going well!
