Finished my paper a whole 40 minutes before it was due. Yes, I finished my 2500-word 7.5-page essay in French at 11:20. That means that I can check off the list of things I will have done in the past week by tomorrow morning ( Read more... )

Teal deer! It's a pronunciation of tl;dr, which stands for 'too long; didn't read.'

Also, the punchline to today's xckd made me snort out loud and has made this whole storyline worth it.

Perl, as in the language. But the pun is in the word 'riot grrl', which is a type of music (and the associated movement). Think angry punk chicks on a mission. Those are riot grrls. But she instead is Riot Prrl.

Oh! I figured it was Perl, but I totally missed the riot grrl reference. ^_^

Laura? Back when I started at Mudd it seemed like the core curriculum would take forever to complete - and I'll be finishing it next semester. Which means that by spring of my Junior year I could be done with my major except for clinic and 2 upper division electives.
