So I head back to California tomorrow. I ask myself, what have I done over the last four weeks? I did a lot in name, but what did I do in substance? Sure, I visited artistic sites, went to the zoo, filled out some internship applications, and directed at some fencing meets, but what of it? This break has flown by. It feels that I've been home

I am okay! Well, now I am. I spent parts of break a little sick and sleep depped, which might of been some of it. Also, I almost always turn down invitations to social events the first time asked, even ones that I know I'm going to have fun at. Yes, this is illogical. No, I don't know why I do it. But I did have lots of fun whenever I got over myself and hung out with you.

I've never doubted that people at my college are intelligent (although, I'm sure my posts probably don't give this impression). It's just that they don't seem to value the same things that I do.

I don't judge them for that (well, okay I do, but I recognize that I shouldn't), but that doesn't mean I want to stay here when there are other places where I might fit in better.

I'm glad you seem to have found a place where you're happy, and I'm glad that you read my posts. Sorry I didn't get a chance to see all that much of you over Winter Break. I hope you have an excellent spring semester.
