Yesterday, I woke up in the morning for the first time in over a week. Willingly. I officially have a real job now. I'm a CS consultant! No idea what that means, but in short, I'm spending the next semester or two learning UNIX, how to compile, SSH, telnet, and other goodies. I'm also going to facilitate the transfer from the 10 year old turing to the much newer knuth. Yay!

I don't know about sleep or study habits (poke Laura poke), but my room, although not particularly kickass, seems to be full of people singing Broadway tunes at odd hours of the night. Last night we went through the good bits of Phantom (not that there are bad bits, but the main songs) and half of Les Mis. More to be sung at high volume later ( Read more... )
