Shishido-san was really into loud noisy European rock music. Currently, he was blasting one of the practise rooms with a CD of something called ‘Plug In, Baby’ and playing - badly - along on his electric guitar. Ohtori knew this because he was in the practise room next door trying - and failing - to learn a difficult piece of music for the school recital. After listening to Shishido, stumble through the introduction around fifteen times, he finally cracked marched in, pressed pause on the CD player and said.
“Listen. It goes like this …” playing it note and time perfect first time on the violin. “You’re messing up the fourth bar where …”
“Fucking hell, Choutarou. You’re really bloody good at this music stuff, aren’t you?” Shishido gaped in wonder, as if this was the first time he had ever heard the second year play, even after years of school together. Choutarou sighed and smiled a little. It would figure that it would take being able to play something by Muse or Radiohead or someone like that to really impress Shishido.
