Just found this--oh, you meanie, sucking me into a WIP! But it's fabulous. You've caught the language of the original, and I don't just mean the Jang slang. The first-person viewpoint, the futuristic venues and colors--I swear it feels just like the author is writing a sequel. Of course it makes perfect sense to explore homosexual attitudes in a world where people think they have everything "solved" by being able to swap genders. Really hoping there's more of this.

I'm currently wrestling my way through part ten right now. I declared it to be NaNoSlashMo, so I'll be working on this WIP more, so expect updates!

And yes, exploring homosexual attitudes in a world where gender changes are simple seemed to me to be the perfect angle for a fic. though I'm kind of futzing around a touch...
