I started this journal way back just for me really, I kept all my posts friend locked and gave no one the link. Then when I decided I wanted to go for transplant I thought it would be the best place for my family and friends to read any news about going on the list or getting the actual operation. I still locked away my more intimate posts not

I enjoy reading your blog, only have read it since your transplant, but I enjyo seeing you being able to do the everyday things that you may not have been able to do without your lung transplant!

I can't remember how I came across your blog - probably through LLTGL in some way. I have hardly (if ever - very remiss) commented but your account of your transplant was brilliant. My attempts to get any photos of our transplant (I'm a living kidney donor) completely failed as the docs wouldn't oblige! I've got several friends with CF, and, as I increase in age (!) find I have several friends who have kids with CF. Understanding more about the reality of the condition has helped me so much to understand what they are going through. And I hope makes me a better and more supportive friend.

If you feel the time has come to end your blog then be encouraged that you have touched the lives and hearts of many (over 18,000 hits isn't bad!) and hopefully educated and inspired them at the same time. Until then, you remain on my blog roll.

Yes I still like to read your journal - it is very interesting and especially to see how far you have come and how you deal with any setbacks. I think it has given people an indepth insight to transplant warts and all so to speak. Like the pics too.
