Bad news landed yesterday afternoon with a phone call to my cell. A very close friend of mine had just gotten back from the doctor after being sick this week, and had gotten a test for hiv, and came back positive. My American Doll Posse song-bysong review
Yo George - Seems like a soft start to such a rocking album. I almost feel like it would have been a better closer than an opener. The only part of that song that does anything for me is the last line about having the nation on all fours. I guess that's a sign of the edge that's about to ensue.

Grogginess
I hate having to adjust to wake up on Saturday mornings. It's such a different world from waking up at 10 a.m. most mornings to waking up at 6:45 a.m. Seems like I'm groggy the whole day when I'm waking up early. Caffeine doesn't help either. Lastnight, I met Hunter at the Yacht Club for a couple of drinks. It was a rather boring and dull night there. Today has been crazy busy at work. I have screened 10 patients today! The most usually is maybe 8, if that many. My phone has been ringing off the hook. I was almost stressed there for a minute, and this is supposed to be my stress-free easy job..lol ( Read more... ) -
Posse Goodness
Been listening to Tori's Germany performance on radio from yesterday, and really enjoying getting to know the new songs. Almost Rosey is the one that grabs me from the ones she performed lastnight.
