I've been using TaxACT...I'm almost done with it I have my w2s and unemployment stuff entered. but somehow i'm still getting a LITTLE bit back (even though I had four months of unemployment with no taxes taken out) So yay!

I haaaaaaaaaaaate taxes.

BTW, miss you on aim =(

I hate taxes too...I usually expect to get zero back from uncle sam (and always try not to owe them shit lol)

No taxes taken out for unempl? You did have that option right? You better be careful, you might have to owe them come next yr. My form stated that you can have them take the 10% out for taxes or not have them take the tax off yet owe them later. I opted for them to take the tax out so I don't have to mess with that and be screwed over next yr.

I did it at the advisory of a person who had been on unemployment in my state several times before. Basically at the time of year I was applying, I had overpaid my taxes already, so it was not going to hurt me. (Plus I started working and paying taxes there a few months in - I just continued to collect partial.) Like I said above, I am getting some money back, so it was definitely true.

I am however getting taxes taken out for this year.

I'm around just lurking these days though blame it on gundam 00 for eating up my fandom time
but yeah last saiunkoku fic I read was a great one with kouchou/Seiran.

Happily the infection is spreading a bit in the English-speaking fandom. Which is good, because it is FILLED WITH AWESOME!

There's a fic challenge/battle going on at the saiunkoku_fic comm, and it's turning up some awesomeness! Do drop by if you have the time! :-D

AAAgh, I am reading this post LITERALLY 20 minutes after I just fought with a dreaded 1099-MISC in turbo tax for a paltry return.

:( Now I feel really bummed.
