i'm getting my ears gauged tonight. i'm a little bit nervous about this whole ordeal. i've never had anything gauged and...i'm going from what i have now (12g) to a fricken 6g, that's quite a difference. everyone's told me it's not as painful as getting an actual piercing so that calms me but i know it's going to be a nervous kind of tooth-ache

Going from a 12g to a 6g in a day is a really, really bad idea, regaurdless of if a piercer is doing it or not. . .

i may get him to use the 8G taper and then do the 6 in a week or 2

haha... yeah.. you're really only supposed to skip at the most two gauges at a time... your ears will get really fucked up and will be really gross... heh. i speak from experience (14 to a 6...lots of blood. and pain)
