Ichiro stood in the campgrounds wearing his dark blue swimming trunks and a zip up jacket. He was waiting for his group to gather for the beginning of the first full day of the trip.  Yesterday when they arrived late more then half the class

Kazuya came marching up to the pond wearing his black swim trunks with orange strips on the sides. "Damn its going to be cold I know it is but I'm not on the swim team for no reason." he complained a little.

Mura made her way to Kazuya and slipped an arm around his. "Guess what Nakamura-sama, I made a little bet with the lovely Toriyama-senpai... if we win I can rub it in his pretty little four eyed face he lost to you and your gang." With a purr she let go of kazuya's arm and smirked.

"Of cousre if you ever need a favor I will be sure to ask but I do want some good ego damage before I force him into anything. Got to take him off his high horse a little." For a moment Mura knew she was counting her chickens before the egg hatched but it felt so good to do so.

"Oh really he is sort of scary if you don't know how to keep him in his place. I know his dad is a military man maybe have one of the boys show Ichiro how those army guys treat their prisoners behind closed doors if you know what I mean." he said with a wink.

"I can have Yosuke help with that because that boy has to be gay. Why else would he freak whenever one is near him." Kaz laughed at his own joke.

Mura eyed Hikaru with some sort of disgust before she turned back to Kazuya. " oh good, I think we can win due to the fact that your boy Sawada is scared to death of the water. Poor baby was white as a sheet while next to Ichiro." There was something mocking in her voice.

Andy walked over to the waters edge, stepping in and sitting so that only her feet got wet. She sat, back towards the rest of the group, waiting for this to be over with so that she could get out of the blue one-piece she currently wore. She felt self-conscious at the moment.

Ignoring the chatter of other students, she watched the steady movement of the water, and followed the trail they were supposed to go with her eyes. She wasn't too bad when it came to swimming, but she wasn't too good either.

Wrapping her arms around her legs, she sighed and lay her head on her knees, ready to get this started so that it can finally end.

(Rika, Naozumi, Aiko, Ryo, Kiti)

Kiti showed up at the lake, rather proud of how she looked in the new bathing suit she had bought with Hikaru, the other day. She did feel a bit naked however, there really wasn't any room to add hidden pockets, so she didn't have any props hidden on her at all. She had planned to walk over with Ayame, but had lost track of her after breakfast, and not wanting to be late, had given up looking. She enjoyed swimming, even if she wasn't great at it, and as long as no one was expecting her to dive, she would do fine.

Apparently she was actually early for once because she didn't see anyone from her group yet. She did see Hikaru though, and decided that the silver worked on her, unfortunately whoever she was talking to had his back to Kiti and she couldn't tell who he was.
Well there was really only one sure way to find out.
"Hey Hikaru!" Kiti called as she approached "Are you ready for our First Great Challenge?"

At hearing her name, Hikaru bowed to Kazuya. "Please excuse me for my rudeness in leaving, Nakamura-san." she said before heading toward Kiti.

"I hate swimming....I'm not looking forward to having to race...really, I may have grace on land...but I look like a dear thrashing around while an aligator is eating it when I'm in water....that's how utterly graceless I am when trying to swim." She said, looking at the water with an expression of trepidation. "Not to mention that water's probably really dirty..."

Hikaru gave her sheepish grin. "And now I feel like a fool, admitting that I'm a weak swimmer and completely graceless in water..."

"Oh My God, you mean there's something you're not good at?" Kiti asked in mock horror, "That means you will be shamed for all time, and I can't be seen with someone who's not perfect, I guess we'll just have to stop being friends!" Kiti grinned. She looked around at everyone else who had shown up, since she had missed the swimming segment in PE, she had no idea who was good or not.
"I suspect you won't be the worst swimmer here, and somehow I doubt that anyone will be paying that much attention anyways." she said reasuringly. "Oh by the way, that suit is perfect on you, I'm glad you decided not to add the skirt." She cocked her head thoughtfully for a second appraising her friends figure. "I hope your not planning on losing much more weight though, you look great now, but any thinner would make you look totaly anorexic."

Hikaru looked down at herself, looking thoughtful. "I have to keep my weight between 90 and 92 pounds....If I loose more than that the doctor will get mad, if I gain more than that, my sensei will get mad. Jun's really not all that strong...so if I weigh too much, I'll end up having to switch partners." she sighed before giving Kiti a grin. "So...how's your group?"

Swallowing heavily Rika slowly walked out towards the water. She wear a pair of jogging pants with a matching jacket over her swimsuit. Rika swear she could already feel the boys hungry eyes on her. All of the twins gang knew they had too what if they wanted to do the same thing panicking she fell to the ground grasping her ankle and calling out in pain. It was all faked and she hoped no one would notice.

Amanda started to wander away from her group, headed toward some flowers she'd noticed, when she saw Rika holding her ankle and seeming to be hurt. She changed her course and headed straight toward Rika. "Are you ok, Senpai?" she asked, knealing down with a worried expression.

"I think I am." she said trying to stand up. "No good I think I sprained it." she said through gritted teeth.

Amanda looked at her carefully, then gave her a smile. "May I?" she asked, waving a hand idly to indicate checking her ankle. "I know a lot about sprains...I might be able to tell you if it's bad enough that you'll need to sit out most of the activities planned for this trip or if it's not that bad..."

((Group C- Ritsuko, Nwabudaki, Kanako, Matthew, Miyoko))

Mattie wasn't nervous at all about the race. He knew how to swim since it was something all surfers had to know, but then again he stayed on top of the water more then in it a lot of times and had no clue how the others would be.

(Group H: Tsukasa Li, Amaya Akiko, Kasai Tori, Yu Ling Tai, Yuhji Kiuchi)

Kasai looked around for his group leader and after assuming Tsukasa hadn't shown up yet, he decided to better his time by talking with people. He walked around awhile, searching for familiar faces. With his shirt off, he revealed some bruises, mainly from his on doings. Seeing Mattie, he smirked as he ran up from behind the taller boy, pushing into him hard (but in a playful) way. "What's up Mattie! Bet you're happy with this activity." While Kasai did prefer the streets more, he was on the schools swim team. But he thought that since Mattie was a surfer, he had to have the skills.

(OOC if you consider this moving your character, go ahead and tell me and I'll modify it.)

"Oh yes I'm happy in more ways then one." he said eying the crowd looking for Ritsuko and a chance to see her in her swimsuit. "I'm going to ask strawberry to be mine before this trip ends, if you know what I mean."

Kasai smirked as he in turn scanned the crowd for Ritsuko too. "Strawberries and cream suit yoiur taste?"
