Leo was on the high alert, and could only say 'I told you so' once this was over.
He set down his bag and took out his ration for lunch. Leo found a comfortable spot and leaned his back onto a large tree. The student was quiet and didn't speak much durring the march; Leo was too lost in thought and keept track of where they were going.
Leo had been last in the group and set up small markers as they trecked on just incase this happened. He bit down into his lunch and kept in thought.
Shuichi found a seat straight across from Leo and proceded to take out his lunch. Though his stomach did not express any desire for food, Shuichi ate anyways since he knew from experience that when traveling on foot for a long distance, your mind begins to focus on things that usually you wouldn't pay any attention to, such as how your stomach is feeling, making your stomach feel oddly hollow.
"You know" Leo bit into his power bar, "I don't think we are going to make it home before night fall" Of cousre he was careful to keep his voice low, unsure of how good Toriyama's hearing was.
After he dug through his bag some more, Leo found an extra power bar. After he debated for a few moments Leo gently tossed it over to chii, "Heads up!" Once that was done he turned back to Shuichi.
Kenshin didn't notice Leo's markers, but he did notice that the main trail markers were missing. He had actually noticed when the trail turned and they didn't, but he didn't say anything because this would be more fun. Besides, he knew that if he mentioned anything, Toriyama would probably keep going his way, just to prove that he was right, whether or not he was. Kenshin was not worried. He, too had thought ahead about Toriyama's thick-headedness, and had packed his day-pack accordingly. He had a small first-aid kit with him, three flashlights, binoculars, rope, a handful of those funny-looking foil emergency blankets, and a spare set of clothing. He had thought of bringing a compass, but the sky was clear enough when they set off, and he knew that as long as he could see the sun or stars, he knew where he was. If people got too desperate, he would point the way, but so far, this was fun! Kenshin liked nature, and from his rapier and fencing work, he could walk for several hours at a time. He was actually enjoying himself...
((OOC: Just wanted to say there are really no trails so it the only possible way Kenshin could notice something odd would be the fact that there are no arrows anymore, but even then it would be hard to tell if you missed one (since they may be covered by leaves or something) or if they are further spread apart.))

Chii Was too busy bieng hot and angry to notice the lack of trail marks as they pressed on, but She did realize that she didnt bring a lunch. Already frustrated from the icky sweat and the wierd bugs and animals, finding that she had lost her lunch made her want to scream. She put her hand to her forehead and sat on the log.

Kenshin noticed that Chii seemed a little overheated. "You all right?" he asked, pulling a water bottle out of the recesses of his pack and offering it to her.
Ichrio looked up at Chii and noticed she wasn't eating. "Please tell me your not hungry and you DO have a lunch." he said in a frustrated voice as he began to rub his temples.
"Once again I might have to take points from my own damn team. Three fucking points. Don't any of you listen to the rules or have any common sense whats so ever. I mean its pathetic how the twins and his gang are acting like british boarding school kids compared to your lot." Ichiro was pissed off at them and himself for getting lost.
His mind pictured the last arrow he saw and the surrounding area. There was another arrow there and he tried to focus on what color it was. He knew he staying in a straight line looking for the next arrow like it said but after so many minutes and not running across it Ichiro realized there wasn't any in that direction. He wanted to know what was wrong and how could that happen. "Orange." he said out loud. The arrow was orange but what group was assigned that again. He began to think even harder.
Leo watched Toriyama for a moment or two, best not to get on his bad side yet. That was until...
"you know.... now that you say that...Kazuya and Kusanagi were... pretty well.... quiet this morning... and I am sorry but Kusanagi and smug do not bring good things to people... and kazuya well... " Leo was now muttered things to himself, 'no Kazuya wouldn't....no... yes...yes he would THAT!'
"THAT ASSWHOLE!" Leo suddenly yelled as he stood up and clenched his fist into tight balls.
Leo glanced over at Shuichi he had no forest camping sense at all but Shuichi might. First though he had to make sure and he could easily lie to Ichiro and over it all up with some sort of logical BS. Kazuya was right Leo did lie too much but all in the name of... good?
He looked at Shuichi for a moment and debated on asking. As he stood there he looked at Shuichi and debated the ealier course of thought.
Shuichi gave Leo a quizzical look before turning his attention to Kenshin and Chiisuchine. -How suspicious they ever look there- he thought. His eyes found their way to Ichiro. -He would probably have been better off in the Nakamura's group, if I am correct on the student councils main priority.- He smiled as his observations were playing out prefectly. -Toriyama admitted we were lost. I wish I had been more observant on watching our exact path. But Toriyama did do many zigzag patterns, making it darn near impossible to go back now.- He then scolded himself for not paying as close attention as he could once he noticed the many turns and loops their group had made without the guidance of an arrow. He had just assumed Ichiro had sharper eyes then him and noticed things he didn't. -That's it. I vow to be true to my status as a Wolf throughout this trip- he finished.
"...Ichigo... If I can get us back onto where the last flag was spotted...do you think you can lead us home?" Leo choose with his first thought, try and see if Shuichi can or would help.
"No." Shuichi answered bluntly. There was no way they could possibly find the way back to the flag after walking such a long ways after passing it, not to mention Ichiro's path he had forged as he tried to get back on the path unsuccessfully.
