David Diamond died the other day. He was 89. I was in Cincinnati all of last week, so I somehow missed out on CNN's 24-hour coverage of this story. Extremely saddened by this news. MATT!!! Hey!

I totally agree with this. I recently got a CD of his music, and it was fabulous!! I can't believe I hadn't heard more before that CD... especially since I'm in Seattle, where I have Schwarz who's enamored with Diamond/Hanson/etc.

So how have you been doing? I'm sorry I haven't talked to you for a while. How did the concert of your music go?!? I wasn't in town that early to go hear it, but I heard from other people that it went very excellently.

Hope you check this... If you don't, I'll send an email. Talk to you soon!

Haha, yeah well I was really sad when I heard that so decided to revive the live journal to be weepy and stuff, but since I am really consistent, I havent written an entry since then :D. I was in Cincinnati with Michael Torke, Fredric Rzewski, and this amazzzing German composer who I had never heard of named Moritz Eggert. It was an interesting experience.... I saw your picture on the ascap site (**jealous**). You should be so proud of winning, I am in awe! Any way, I hope you are having fun at the moment sitting at some fancy German bistro sipping coffee. IM me, or email, or whatever (ooh and are you getting excited about starting school soon...?)
Matt
