It would be a lot more convenient for me to reside in the faculty dormitories around here because the oncoming freeze is making it so painful to go home. Up until I left here about two years ago, I used to stay in a dorm around here, but I kept getting large holes blasted on my wall at least every week! It was rediculous ( Read more... )

I think it was TD-17. I hear the wall still gets blasted to this very day and I sure feel sorry for whoever's stuck there now!

The heaters in these dorms aren't all that great.

That's what appliance superstores are for, m'lady! I bought several heaters for my apartment just yesterday.

Well, if it ever does get ridiculously cold you could stay in my room. I hardly use my bed during the night anyway. Nocturnal habits die hard.

You could try a hot water bottle in your jacket, sir. They're inexpensive, easily filled at any faucet with running warm water, and they do a good job - I've taken to using one myself when going out doors in the evenings.
