I understand how you feel. My aunt sang at my grandmother's funeral two years ago, and it just about broke my heart. :) Drop me an email or comment if you like, I'm probably not going to be on AIM.

hey, its paige. this is my new journal.
yeah, i know the feeling.
my dad was an usher at our church until he was too sick to do it, and my mom was in the choir. everyone in the choir liked him very much, so that when we had his memorial service, the director called up and asked permission to sing at it. 99% of the time funerals at our church dont come with the choir. so he got all the bells and whistles.

i DONT know the history behind this, but my mom has 8 siblings.. some of whom are creepy, and some of whom are cold or moralistic. im willing to bet the grandfather issue is a creepo one or a mean one. either one, im sorry for that. one of the 'good' things of my dad passing is that there are no regrets or tensions i never resolved with him.
