(no subject)
My cell phone died this morning and I got stood up tonight by a friend.
I was already dressed to go out by the time he got in touch with me. I had already had a beer as well and he messaged me online saying he had a “work project” and a “deadline” he had to meet.
Honestly, does he expect me to really believe that? This coming from someone who hates his job. Whatever.
Normally, I would have just said “fine … ok … we can reschedule” but this time, I couldn’t hold back. My anger and hurt boiled through and I expressed it over instant message. He eventually logged off & I felt like crap. Fabulous!
So .. I stayed home tonight which is something I have not done in months or longer. I considered going out to a bar / club but couldn’t think of something fun to do on a Tuesday night.
I've been thinking on & off about a girl I danced with last Friday night at a club. She is a friend of the guy I'm dating. She kept seeking me out in the crowd & coming over to dance with me ... repeatedly.
She has a boyfriend though & her online profile says straight. So, it was confusing. She is the kind of girl who flirts with absolutely everyone so I'm sure that was all it was. She kept saying to me, as the night wore on ... "we are gonna get in trouble". I have no idea what that meant.
I'm having dinner with her & a few others on Thursday night though. What is going on here? Is she just ultra-flirty or does she have a secret crush? I swear ... confusing.
I guess I’m headed to bed.
