Man. I grew up in southern California and we used to explore drains all the time, but I haven't gone into any since moving to Toronto over ten years ago. Your pictures make me miss it so much. (I don't know anyone up here who is into that sort of thing, and I'm not going to go by myself.) Aw, storm drains. <3

and the names - are those the official names of the places? the thing is that I'm looking forward to shoot a part of the film in a place like this (has hight ceiling, some platforms).
where these three far apart from each other?

The names are given by explorers who are first to document the drain within this particular 'community'. They often describe the location or distinct features within the drain. The bigger systems can usually be found when ravines suddenly disappear beneath a neighbourhood.
