Fresh tempeh???

So, I have a grocery question. Is there anywhere in Toronto that I can get either fresh tempeh or anything that hasn't been sitting in the store freezer for months ( Read more... )

there is a organics food shop in kensington that i would see tempeh not frozen at. it was in the fridge area near the tofu. the name of the place escapes me... dunno if that is of any help.

Noah's - the Yonge / Eg one anyway has a great selection of tempeh...

are you marinating and dressing it? you should be if you plan to use it at all. (i would say to concentrate more on cutting down on soy). you can eat seitan, which absorbs marinades easier, and can be made at home, that way you control exactly what goes into it. good luck. :o)
