i don't think i have ever posted pictures of diego and booboo before. so, here you go!
baby booboo. when we got him he was probably between 1/2 to 1/3 the size i think he should have been for his age. i also had to force feed him because he would just spend all day hiding behind the toilet and wouldn't come out for anything. the vet isn't entirely sure what's wrong with him, but our best guess is that he has some brain damage/developmental issues because his mother was a stray and probably malnourished for most of her pregnancy, the rescue group didn't get her until about a week before he was born. he was also the only kitten in his litter, which is pretty odd.
because of that booboo has trouble balancing and very little control over his claws. as much as i hate declawing we are considering it for him because he can't control them well enough and i have more scars on my body than i can count on both hands just from accidents with him. he is waaaay too sensitive about his feet for softpaws/nail clipping to really be a good option. ):

then they got big. D:

this sleeping position started as a baby and he still sleeps like that today.

my mom had spent the night and left sheets on the futon. booboo likes it that way.
he prefers paper balls to any toy we could buy.
and yeah, some of the walls in my apartment are definitely bright green, and i love them. :)
oh yeah! so for a year i either forgot or was too busy to go get a haircut..
that's a horrible picture of me, but you get the idea. i also need to dye my hair. it was this reaaaally pretty dark brown color that i got a lot of compliments on, but it faded. ):
wednesday at work i hit my finger on the desk. i was reaching for my ipod which was in the drawer where normally the keyboard would be and hit my hand. i didn't think it was a big deal but by thursday morning it was 3x the normal size, friday morning it was 4x and really painful. we were at the er for almost 4 hours last night but they were super busy so i think they just kind of blew me off, told me to keep a splint on it, that i had torn a ligament and went about their way. my boss isn't very happy about this, she kinda things they should have taken a little bit more time to at least look at it, and wants me to go see the hand specialist. poo. it's still 4x the normal size and the pain hasn't gotten better, so, i guess if it doesn't improve by wednesday i can try to make an appointment.
p.s. mel, congrats on getting into the nursing program, i hope you are celebrating tonight. (:
