to graduate as an honors scholar from UA i need to complete an honors project, which is always some kind of research. my project is to document the differences in the cardiovascular systems of fish raised in hypoxia and normoxia(low and normal oxygen, respectively.) well, my research advisor never told me that hypoxic fish are only kept during the ( Read more... )

try steeping 2 chamomile teabags for a couple minutes until the water gets comfortably warm, ripping the bags open and smearing (more like packing/smashing) the tea leaves onto your face. let it sit until they get cold.

i've been going through the same thing for a while and i think it's just winter dryness even though it's never happened before. i've been using the aveeno ultra-calming for a couple years now so it's probably not the lotion itself. i tried cetaphil at everyone's recommendation and that shit BURRRRNED, wtf? try to not use anything when you wash your face, just a warm wash cloth to scrub and only pat half-dry before you put some lotion on. i've been having to do lotion 2-3 times a day to get out of the peeling leather stage. :\

the night you left this i searched my entire kitchen for the box of chamomile tea i bought for corey awhile ago, but i never found it. i think it fell behind the microwave, who knows, it's probbaly a fire hazard or something, meh.

buuuuut, i had recently switched shampoos, but just from one pantene to another, i really didn't think it would make a huge difference, but last night i used my old one in the shower instead of the new one and when i woke up this morning my face was normal. so, yay!

other lotions burn my face, too. the only two that i have used so far that don't are the aveeno ultra-calming and the clinique one i just bought. the clinique one is pretty similar in price (clinique one = $12.50 for a tube(the tube is way better than the pump) and the aveeno one is $15 for a bottle) and the clinique one seems to last longer in the day.

you know, the shampoo thing seems too plausible. i use three different ones but two less frequently than the others. maybe they make my face go a-splodey all the sudden. harumph! >:(

also, fire hazards are totally not even real things.

or anything else that touches your face i guess, i have had my face freak out from conditioners before, too. it all seems fine now that i switched back, so i really do think it was the shampoo.

i think i have reached my limit for fires for the year, anyway. we caught the stove on fire a few weeks ago, so we should be set for the rest of the year, at least. haha.
