And Whilst I'm sure we all knew it was coming, (plant based diets use less land per person), This has all started sooner than I expected.

They're trying to turn you Veggie whatever next?

"Their right you know we... Tastes just like chicken" said one lesbian frog to the other......

lol old one.

yes, in this highly human-overpopulated, I reccon cannibalism should be not so much "allowed" but promoted, hell I'm sure in some states you can eat roadkill right, Let's make all towns sports areas like we did the countryside some years back?

i'll just go with my original idea of buying a cow with another couple. we each get half a cow, and we'll ground our own beefs, thanks.

LMAO, I fail to see how that solves either of the problems though... NM whether the cow was reared in a barn or a field, the land requirements to feed the damned thing are similar.

2) Can you still buy offal over there? hell I've been told (albeit FOAF style) that all Offal must be removed before the end user gets any dead-stock, so the only way to sort this one would be to have ultimate faith and trust in the chap removing the innards, and they are after all Butchers, not skilled surgeons.

Me, I'll stick to my non-meat diet, though I suspect the medication my quack has put me on for B12 difficiency is not plant, nor yeast related.

yes, offal can be purchased...i don't know where you heard it can't. liver is regularly sold in the supermarket, and i see tongue in certain stores.

i know that if one goes directly to a butcher, one can get the remaining edible organs quite easily.

RE: land usage - yes, you're right. HOWEVER, i'm not supporting the larger beef industry if i buy directly from the farm...i'm also not supporting the GMO corn crop production, since i'd be buying grass-fed. genetically modified plants scare me far more than the "waste" of land.

Have you checked your Folic Acid levels? I had B12 deficiency too, and it was traced to an inability to process Folic Acid. Without that, the B12 is low too. I have the MTHFR gene mutation on both sides so I don't process very much Folic Acid at all. Screwed my health something seriously until my doc figured that out.
