Takeout last night

So, I would strongly advise anyone wanting Chinese/Thai takeout to avoid the Yangtze on Jefferson (in the Tops plaza). The food is alright but their service is absolutely awful. We got a fairly large order last night, and one item was incorrect. They said we'd get the difference and the correct food item delivered. We ordered at 7, the food arrived ( Read more... )

I went to their buffet once. The food was mediocre, but the floors were so slippery that I had trouble staying upright! Not goin' back there again, especially with TRFKA Thai Taste so close.

The only time I've been there recently (read: Since the restaurant changed hands and became an "Oriental Bistro" {Apparently that term translates to "buffet" in english. Go figure.}) I had both some fairly good food (sesame chicken, cashew chicken, etc.), and some fairly awful fare ("Homestyle chicken glop melange", "The icky stuff next to it", etc.). I guess you have to really pick and choose.

Regardless, I'll take your advice and avoid takeout from there. The longest trip that food should take is:

Kitchen --> Buffet --> Plate --> My Belly!
