Another cryptic at best post, I see you drop them from month to month. You still Seattle side?

We was up in the Van at the weekend, and it would seem that all the shops have become pretentious and brand name. Plus this with the fact that the exchange aint as good no more. Then add the fact that Level, the skate shop, has closed down and re-opened as an overpriced boutique selling ripped up bits of fabric they class as clothes.
Van used to be a good place to go xmas shopping, it doesnt seem to be any longer. Next time we will go down to portland dodging the added tax we get here.

wait - all the shops? all at once? and this all happened since the last time you visited? what a startling and abrupt change for the worse! if vancouver wasn't the most achingly beautiful place in the western world, well, i suppose i'd have to pack up and move to portland. :)

oh, and if level isn't doing it for you as a skate shop, may i suggest the boarding house, or seks where, or solid core, or vert, or westbeach, or p.d.'s hot shop, or...

You see, this is what I need, inside info. Being just a visitor of your fine city of Van, I know of only the visitor type shops.
Maybe if you had told me this before I had gone, then I might have come home with a few more xmas pressies now wouldnt have I?
And Level doesnt do it for me no longer because Level is no longer.
